Privacy policy

This policy explains how Success Tutoring ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through schools.successtutoring.com, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Enquiry details you submit through the free assessment form: your name, email, phone number, suburb or postcode, your child's year level, the school you were viewing, and any message you write.
• Usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and referring site, collected through standard web analytics.
• Location, only if you choose to use the "schools near me" feature. Your coordinates are used in your browser to sort schools and are not sent to our servers.

How we use it

• To contact you about your assessment enquiry and match you with your nearest centre.
• To provide tutoring services if you become a member.
• To improve the site and measure which content is useful.
• With your consent, to send you educational information and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are stored in our customer relationship management system (HubSpot) and shared with the Success Tutoring centre nearest to you, which may be operated by a franchisee. We use service providers for hosting, analytics and email who are bound to protect your information. We do not sell personal information.

School data

School profiles on this site are derived from publicly released ACARA datasets and contain no personal information about students or staff.

Access and correction

You can request access to, or correction or deletion of, your personal information by emailing hello@successtutoring.com.au. If you have a complaint, contact us first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
