PSLE cut-off points 2025: every secondary school in Singapore
The PSLE score range of students posted to each of 139 secondary schools in the 2025 Secondary 1 posting exercise, by Posting Group, as published on MOE SchoolFinder. Sorted from the most competitive intake (Integrated Programme or Posting Group 3) to the least. A lower score is better; a range ending in 30* means the school still had places after posting.

How to use the cut-off points
Your child's PSLE score decides the Posting Group, and the Posting Group decides which score ranges apply. Shortlist schools whose previous range comfortably includes the score, then add one or two aspirational choices near the edge of the range and at least one safe choice well inside it. Order your six choices by preference, not by cut-off: the posting system considers your choices in the order you list them, so a lower-cut-off school listed second is not disadvantaged by a higher-cut-off school listed first.
Affiliated pupils use the affiliated range on the school's profile. Integrated Programme schools post only in Posting Group 3 and often with very low ranges; their O-Level-track peers are listed in the same table. Schools marked 30* had places left after posting and admit across the whole eligible range.
For how the exercise works step by step, read PSLE and Secondary 1 posting explained. For what the programme labels mean, see SAP, GEP, autonomous and independent schools.

Frequently asked questions
What is a PSLE cut-off point?
The cut-off point (COP) is the PSLE score of the last student posted to a school through a given Posting Group in the Secondary 1 posting exercise. MOE publishes it as a score range: the lowest and highest PSLE scores of students posted. A lower number means entry was more competitive. These figures are from the 2025 exercise.
What are Posting Groups 1, 2 and 3?
Under Full Subject-Based Banding, students are posted to secondary school in one of three Posting Groups based on their PSLE score: Posting Group 3 (PSLE 4–20, formerly Express), Posting Group 2 (21–22, formerly Normal (Academic)) and Posting Group 1 (23–30, formerly Normal (Technical)). Schools publish a score range for each group they admit.
What do affiliated and non-affiliated mean?
Some secondary schools give priority to pupils from an affiliated primary school. Those pupils are admitted on a separate, usually higher, score range. The main list shows the non-affiliated range, which applies to everyone else; the affiliated range is shown on each school's profile where MOE publishes one.
Why does a range end in 30*?
The asterisk is MOE's note that the school still had vacancies after posting. Its last posted student scored better than 30, but because it could have admitted an eligible student with a score of 30, the cut-off is shown as 30.
Does a lower cut-off mean a better school?
No. It means more students with strong PSLE scores chose the school, which reflects reputation, location, programmes and affiliation. MOE does not publish O-Level or A-Level results by school, so there is no official results ranking. Use the cut-off to judge whether a school is a realistic choice, then look at its programmes, CCAs and culture.
Will next year's cut-off points be the same?
They usually move by a point or two in either direction depending on cohort performance and how students rank their choices. Treat this year's range as a guide, not a guarantee, and list a mix of schools across the range in your six choices.
